CareBridge Nursing Advocacy is now open. We're a nurse-led practice helping families across Los Angeles and Orange County navigate hospitalizations, complex diagnoses, and the healthcare system — so nothing falls through the cracks.
When a loved one is in the hospital or managing a complex condition, the system can feel impossible to navigate alone. We change that.
We're present during hospital stays — attending rounds, asking questions, and making sure your loved one's care plan is followed.
We connect the dots between specialists, primary care, and home health so nothing gets missed in the handoffs.
We translate medical jargon, explain diagnoses, and help families make informed decisions with confidence.
From insurance appeals to finding the right specialist, we guide families through every step of the healthcare maze.
CareBridge was founded by Ekua Hackney-Stephens, MSN, RN — a pediatric ICU nurse trained at Howard University and UCSF. She built CareBridge because she saw firsthand how families get lost in the system, and how much difference a knowledgeable advocate can make.
"Every patient deserves someone who knows the system, speaks the language, and fights for their best outcome. That's what CareBridge is here to do."

"Having CareBridge with us during my husband's hospitalization was the difference between feeling completely lost and actually understanding what was happening. I can't recommend them enough."
